While Play for Brian initially started to help out Brian Keefer, its long-term mission was to help community members like Brian. It only seems fitting that Play for Brian should help out Central Mountain High School Freshman soccer player Ben Fortescue and his family. On Friday, September 6, 2019 Ben was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma. On September 10th, doctors removed a lymph node from Ben at Geisinger Medical Hospital. The Fortescue Family has a tough road ahead of them. This year 50% of all proceeds from Play for Brian will go to the Fortescue family in support.
